Open Dialogue is both a therapeutic practice and a system of care. It’s been shown to increase recovery rates and significantly reduce rates of hospitalisation and use of crisis services for people with severe mental illness. The report on the biggest ever trial of Open Dialogue, which took place in the UK has just been published in The Lancet.
We are raising investment right now for implementation, to roll this out across the UK’s mental health trusts, in partnership with the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health (NCCMH) and the Centre for Open Dialogue Education (CODE). Unlocking life-changing and system-wide impact.
Using innovative funding mechanisms, there is no upfront costs to Trusts or Health Boards to take part in the programme.
